SBF 3.2
Version 3.2 will be the next release of SBF. Its focus will be to implement true sticky frames functionality. Planned functionality includes:
- Ability to stick frames together dynamically without leaving space between them
- Allow custom bar/border colours for specific effects
- You'll be able to differentiate the effects cast by your vehicle from everyone else's (well, WoW 3.1 will let you do this, but SBF 3.2 will take advantage of that)
- Ability to easily make frames children of other frames for kgPanels and such (needs some investigation before I commit to having this in 3.2)
- A checkbox on the Filters tab to have SBF automatically populate a frame with filters used by other frames for the same unit, where the frame is the opposite list type (that is, a blacklist frame will grab all the filters from whitelist frames for the same unit, and vice-versa)
Suggestions for other functionality for 3.2 are welcome!
Received Requests
These are features I've received requests for. No commitment to implementing them is made yet, but the more feedback I get asking for a feature, the more likely it is to go in:
- Ability for SBF to indicate when selected effects are not present
- Ability for SBF to show spell/item cooldowns as effects
- Ability for SBF to indicate that a particular effect (e.g. Vigilance) has been cast on someone without needing frames for all party/raid members
- Have mouseover frames only show when the pointer is within the area of buffs actually shown in the frame (as opposed to the entire area the frame can cover when full)
- Show bar lengths relative to some time value rather than relative to the amount of time remaining in the buff. For example if the time value is set to 60 minutes, a 30 minute buff would start at 50% bar length
