Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can SBF show my target's buffs?
A: Yes! As of SBF 3.0, you can use the Units tab in the SBF configuration to show buffs and debuffs of units other than yourself.

Q: Can you make this use Ace?
A: It already is an Ace addon.

Q: Does SBF support cyCircled
A: Yes.

Q: Does SBF support ButtonFacade?
A: Yes.

Q: I don't use bars. How does this affect SBF's memory usage?
A: Well, you really shouldn't worry about addon memory usage overmuch to begin with. In any case, SBF will only create bars if you have frames that use them.

Q: Why are the options in a separate addon?
A: The SBF options are a full blown graphical thing in their own right, and chew up a fair amount of memory. For most people, setup is something you do once and then leave alone except to tweak once in a while. Given that, it doesn't make sense for that to be loaded all the time so SBFOptions is a load on demand addon. It only gets loaded when you type /sbf options.

Q: Is there a French/German/Swahili translation available?
A: Right now, there is only English localisation available. If you want to help out getting SBF translated into your language, drop me a line and we can make it happen

Q: Why are SBF's options not in the interface options panel?
A: The options window is cool and all, but it's big and you cannot move it. Not so fun trying to move your buff frames around a stationary frame. Not to mention the sheer effort involved in converting SBFOptions to that format. They are not likely to ever go there. Yes, I know about betterblizzoptions. Not everyone uses it. You'll live.
