I am getting screen freezes and sometimes the game locks right up - what's up with that?
Odds are you are using ButtonFacade. Make sure you are running 3.0r170 or later as versions prior to this one have memory leaks that will destroy your game performance when using SBF and ButtonFacade. You can also use the Disable ButtonFacade for SBF checkbox on the Globals tab to test.
Sometimes it takes a second or two for buffs to show up - what's up with that?
Try this: /sbf throttle 0
Buff icons are messed up or not showing at all
- Go into SBF Options -> Global Options -> Reset Frames. A /console reloadui wouldn't hurt. You'll have to set SBF up again for this character.
I tried everything and it's still messed up!
- If all else fails, exit WoW completely and delete SatrinaBuffFrame.lua in ...World of Warcraft/WTF/Account/ACCOUNTNAME/SavedVariables, then log back in. You will need to set SBF up again for all characters.
The cyCircled skin is much larger than the buff icons
- If you are running cyCircled, a cyCircled size slider will appear on the Global Options tab of the SBF configuration frame for you to tweak the size of the cyCircled skin on your buff icons
My filters don't work!
- Make sure filters are correctly enabled on the Filters tab of the configuration frame
- Filters are processed in the order they appear in the list on the Filters tab. Make sure a filter higher on the list isn't matching before getting to the one you want. Arrange the order or refine filters as needed.
- Show in Frame overrides filters. You can check if a buff is using Show in Frame on the Spells tab of the configuration frame
SBF: SBFOptions version X does not match SBF version Y
- Make sure you extract both the SatrinaBuffFrame and SBFOptions directories from the zip file, and that they got extracted properly into their directories
I don't see the SBFOptions addon in my addons list
- Make sure you extracted both the SatrinaBuffFrame and SBFOptions directories from the zip file, and that they got extracted properly into their directories
- SatrinaBuffFrame and SBFOptions are separate and complete addons. SBFOptions should not be moved into the SatrinaBuffFrame directory!
Error loading SBF configuration frame: <message>
- The message should give you a hint as to what's up
- Make sure you actually have the SBFOptions addon installed and enabled in the AddOns menu at the login screen.
