Common Setup Questions
All-in-one
How can I combine the buffs and debuffs in one list?
You should read the buff flowing section. Here's the lowdown, though:
- Select frame 1 and make sure there is enough space for buffs and debuffs - any overflow of debuffs will still appear in frame 2
- Go to the Flow tab. Select frame 1 as the parent frame
- Select frame 2 as a child frame

- Optionally, select frame 2 and set its visibility to never
Now your frame 1 will look something like this (depending on how you've configured your frame 1 to look, of course):
It's a real pain to move every weapon enchant/totem/debuff that I can cleanse around using Show In Frame!
Yes, it is. Use filters!
Temporary enchants
How can I move temporary weapon enchants to a different frame?
- Go to the Filters tab. Make sure the "Enable Filters" checkbox is checked
- Add an e filter to put the enchants in the desired frame. If you want them in frame 4, it would be 4:e
Tracking buff
How can I put the tracking thing on the minimap as a buff?
- Go to the Global tab. Make sure the "Show tracking" checkbox is checked
- The tracking buff counts as an aura, so it will have either 0 time or 9999 seconds (if you have "Auras have max time" checked) when SBF determines where to put it in the buff frame
- You can use the tr filter to move the tracking buff to a different frame
Totems
How can I move totems around?
- If you are the shaman dropping the totems, the totem (to) filter will do the trick.
- If you are benefitting from someone else's totems, n~totem should work for you
Cleansable Debuffs
How can I move debuffs that I can cleanse/dispel/remove around?
- You can use the appropriate school filters (hm, hd, hc) individually
- You can also use the ha filter to automatically move any debuff that your class can cleanse
Target Debuffs
How can I show my target's debuffs??
- Create a frame, make it look however you like
- Go to the Units tab and choose target in the list
- In the Debuffs in frame dropdown, select the frame you just created

- If you select the Castable debuffs checkbox, only those debuffs that your class can cast will be shown
- If you select the My debuffs checkbox, only those debuffs that you actually did cast will be shown
